Agustin Delgado
Ecuadorian press: Delgado to Metro
February 7, 2007

Agustin Delgado, who was first reported as a Metro target about a month ago, is reportedly on his way to RBNY, according to the Ecuadorian press. MetroFanatic has confirmed that the club is interested in the striker.

Delgado is currently suspended by the Ecuadorian Football Federation for his role in a brawl last December. He is the all-time leading scorer for the national team, recently passing former Metro Eduardo Hurtado.

In other news, BigAppleSoccer and the Washington Post report that RBNY is interested in current Salt Lake and former DC keeper Nick Rimando. Dallas and the Scum are also interested, but where will Rimando fit with Jon Conway and Ronald Waterreus already on board is not known.
