The New England Revolution reserves earned a convincing 4-0 victory over the New York Red Bulls reserves on Saturday night at Giants Stadium. Adam Cristman scored two first-half goals and newly-signed Gambian youth internationals Sainey Nyassi and Abdoulie Mansally each tallied second-half strikes to lead the Revs to the victory.

In the 17th minute, Cristman was taken down by Blake Camp as they both jostled for the ball off a Wells Thompson corner and a penalty kick was awarded. Cristman calmly slotted the ball past the diving Jon Conway to give the Revs a 1-0 lead.

Cristman doubled the Revolution in the 20th minute when Camp slipped while tracking back, allowing Cristman to walk in alone and put it past Jon Conway.

New York came out much stronger in the second half creating some good opportunities from the whistle. John Wolyniec collected an Elie Ikangu pass on the right and crossed it into the box, but Knighton blocked it away to an awaiting Chris Karcz who sent the ball over the bar on the rebound attempt.

The Revs put the game out of reach in the 84th minute when Nyassi headed Thompson's corner kick service past Red Bulls substitute keeper Danny Cepero. New England then added another goal in stoppage time as Mansally who beat Cepero from just outside the penalty area after Nyassi's cross from the left got kicked around in traffic.
