So much for taking time off to "learn some more about soccer". Apparently, the tactical genius has learned enough, for Colombian club Once Caldas, once the roaming pastures of Metro failure Sergio Galvan Rey, have named Juan Carlos Osorio their new head coach. Their official website, which reported the signing, lovingly refers to him as "El Profesor".

Yet, Osorio denied it to BigAppleSoccer. "There is no chance I will sign with anybody until I get to the end of my contract. The offer is a very good offer. The club is a very good club. I am considering the offer. However, I would like to stay in the United States."

Whichever it is, godspeed, Juan Carlos Osorio. You deserve it all.
