It looks like Hans Backe is bringing a countryman into the mix. According to Swedish website Aftonbladet, Goran Aral, who recently spent time as the general manager of Djurgardens, has been signed to a two-year deal to serve as Metro's assistant coach. He will join holdovers Richie Williams and Des McAleenan on the staff.

According to Aftonbladet, "[the] Djurgardens Information Officer did not deny the reports about New York".
