Nesta departs Milan, could be Metro-bound
May 10, 2012

Alessandro Nesta, who spent a decade at AC Milan, has announced his departure from the team in a press conference today. All this among speculations that the defender has signed a two-year deal to play for RBNY, as reported by Eurosport and various other publications.

In his press conference, Nesta was noncommittal to his destination. "I have decided to try a different experience at a club in which I can do something good. I wouldn't mind going to the USA to play, but I have other choices as well," the World Cup winner said. "I'm leaving because the level in the Serie A is too high for me now. I wil go and play where the level is lower," he added.
