It looks like we have our midseason signing... and it's not as exciting as one might think. Defender Damien Perrinelle, who first trialed last winter and again this summer, looks to be signed, according to the NY Post.

"The French lad we're interested in, let's put it that way," Andy Roxburgh told The Post. "It's ongoing. It's not complete yet, but the French lad could be a possible addition for us. Hopefully we have something to tell you in the next couple of days, but we're trying to follow up on that.

"This lad can play right fullback or a centerback. He can play there. He's technically very good, so that's why we're giving him [a chance]. He's a good player on the ball. He's talented with the ball at his feet and he's technically very good."

Perrinelle spent last season with Istres in Ligue 2.
