Wright-Phillips scores in All-Star Game
August 7, 2014

Bradley Wright-Phillips continued his scoring tear, tallying the game-tying goal as the MLS All-Stars came back to defeat Bayern Munich, 2:1. The Englishman's tally came on an excellent shot from outside the box in the 51st minute. Tim Cahill played the first half, while Thierry Henry stayed through the 48th minute.

For those who think that beating the UEFA Champions League titleholders is a big deal for MLS, let us remind you that back in 2001, the MetroStars beat Bayern Munich all by themselves. The score was 2:0, and Bayern was also coming off the Champions League title. Metro also beat the Bavarians, 4:2 in 2006.
