Well, that was anti-climactic. Metro's loss to Columbus means that it's incredibly likely that we will be relegated to the play-in game. The only way to escape that and finish third is the following scenario:
Metro wins at Kansas City AND
Columbus loses to Philadelphia
Yes, if Columbus ties and Metro wins by six or more, they will advance as well. But we will discount such nonsense.
