Roy Miller, who was let go by Metro after the season, has found a new club. The much-maligned defender returned to his native Costa Rica, signing with Deportivo Saprissa.

The left back had been the longest-tenured Metro, after becoming Erik Soler's first signing in January 2010. He was released shortly after the end of the season, and was not claimed in the re-entry draft. Miller holds the MLS record for most assists without scoring a goal, 15 in league play.
