Aurelien Collin incoming?
April 28, 2016
Well, well, well. This might be a good way to solve the central defense crisis. According to the NY Post, RBNY is about to acquire Aurelien Collin for Orlando for MLS's version of magic beans: a conditional fourth round draft pick. Orlando will continue to pay a large part of the Frenchman's salary.
Collin, 30, starred for four seasons in Kansas City, scoring the game-tying goal and the shootout-winning penalty kick during the 2013 MLS Cup. He was traded to Orlando last year, but has appeared in only two matches in 2016. The Frenchman also dabbles in fashion design.
As welcome and needed as his addition would be, one must ask:
Why now? Why not four weeks ago?
