Brandon Allen to be loaned out?
July 6, 2017

If media reports are do be correct, little-used striker Brandon Allen could be loaned out for the rest of the year to Minnesota United. It was first reported by the resourceful Kristian Dyer, and since picked up by Minnesota reporter Jeff Rueter. The loan is supposed to be until the end of the season, with an option to buy.

Allen has not seen any playing time this year, after appearing for all of 7 minutes in 2016. (Note that he did score a goal in those 7 minutes, only for it to be called (incorrectly?) offside.) He has tore it up in the USL over the last year and a half, tallying 30 goals in all competitions, and leading RBNY II to the USL Cup title.
