Attacking midfielder found: Muhamed Keita?
July 21, 2017

On the heels of the Fidel Escobar rumor, it looks like attacking help is coming as well. According to Metro's Kristian Dyer, RBNY is close to signing winger/forward Muhamed Keita.

Keita, 26, a Gambian-born Norwegian youth international, started his career with Stromsgodset in 2008, and spent most of his career in his adopted country. He is officially on the books of Poland's Lech Poznan, but has spent the last few seasons on loan to Stabaek (where he played for Bob Bradley), Stromsgodset, and most recently Valerenga.

According to Dyer, Keita's MLS discovery rights were held by Minnesota, but RBNY has acquired them in exchange for the Brandon Allen loan.
