Bonomo goal lets RBNY II tie Charleston, 1:1

The visiting New York Red Bulls II drew the Charleston Battery, 1-1, Saturday at MUSC Stadium.
Charleston struck first just before the half time whistle, as forward Romario Williams found the net past Red Bulls II goalkeeper Evan Louro for his 15th of the season on an assist from Ataulla Guerra.
Red Bulls II found their way onto the score sheet in the 72nd minute, when Stefano Bonomo scored off a deflection, into the side netting. Bonomo's goal was his third in four games. Florian Valot assisted on the play.
Despite the result, Red Bulls II dominated possession, registering five shots on target and 22 shots in total in comparison to Charleston' four shots in total. Goalkeeper Evan Louro did not register a save.
The game also marked Dilly Duka and Fidel Escobar's first match for the organization, both being loaned down from the first team.
