Kristian Dyer, reporting in Metro, has the first important tidbit of the offseason: central defenders Damien Perrinelle and Gideon Baah will not return next year.

Perrinelle, who partnered with Matt Miazga in a fantastic 2015, suffered an injury during that postseason that not only hurt Metro's playoff chances, but also largely derailed his career. The Frenchman was at times brilliant, at times spotty, but always well-groomed.

Baah played in only 10 games after being signed two years ago. The Ghanaian missed the entire 2017 season after recovering from an injury, only appearing late in the year for RBNY II.
