March 9, 2018 (Official Press Release)

The New York Red Bulls have signed Red Bulls Academy product Kyle Duncan to an MLS contract, the club announced today. Duncan joined the Red Bulls for preseason camp after spending two years in France with FC Valenciennes.

"Kyle earned this contract with his attitude and work ethic in preseason," said Red Bulls Sporting Director Denis Hamlett. "We are pleased to add another talented young player from our academy into the professional fold."

Duncan, who graduated from New York's Academy system, signed his first professional contract with Valenciennes U-19, a Ligue 2 French club. The New York City native has also featured for the United States at youth international levels.

"Kyle impressed us with the way he came into preseason," said Red Bulls Head Coach Jesse Marsch. "Our academy continues to produce quality players and it's a proud day for everyone involved whenever we add one of those players to our professional ranks."
