Aurelien Collin gets green card
March 19, 2018

Aurelien Collin has received his green card, the defender announced today on Twitter. This is the second time the Frenchman has held US permanent residency; he previously gave it up in a bureaucratic situation that somehow allowed his wife to join him to America.

After trading its extra permanent ninth international slot to Vancouver for the 2018 season, Metro has been functioning with the standard eight. Moreover, three players (Florian Valot, Cristian Casseres, and Hassan Ndam) have been loaned out to RBNY II and cannot play in first team regular season matches. Metro is allowed to swap players to the loaned list, as long as it gives the league notice, but at least this should open a permanent slot for Valot on the senior roster...

Or welcome a midseason international signing?
