New York Red Bulls II played Nashville SC to a 1-1 draw Sunday at Red Bull Arena, their fourth straight, extending their unbeaten streak to seven games.

New York went down in the seventh minute off a failed clearance from Jordan Scarlett. Nashville's Ropapa Mensah slotted one past Evan Louro to get on the scoreboard.

In the 27th minute, Chris Lema sent a lovely through ball to Vincent Bezecourt, who buried his attempt with a left-footed strike. The assist was Lema's first point of his career and Bezecourt's first USL goal of 2018.

With John Wolyniec out due to the birth of his newborn son, Ibrahim Sekagya, assistant coach since 2015, made his professional head coaching debut.
