Kaku suspended two more games
April 24, 2019 (Official Press Release)

New York Red Bulls midfielder Kaku has been issued an undisclosed fine and an additional two-game suspension (three games total) for reckless misconduct of kicking the ball into the sideline stands during the 90+ minute of the Red Bulls' match against Sporting Kansas City on April 14. Kaku, who initially received a red card for the incident, served his first match suspension on April 20 against the New England Revolution. Kaku will serve his additional two-game suspension on April 27 against FC Cincinnati and on May 4 against the LA Galaxy.

Statement from Kaku: "I apologize again for my actions and accept this suspension from MLS. I will do my best to learn from this and become a better person and player. For now, I will continue to work hard in training and do what I can to make sure my teammates are prepared for these matches."
