Markus Epps loaned to Memphis
August 2, 2019 (Official Press Release)

The New York Red Bulls have loaned midfielder Marcus Epps to Memphis 901 FC (USL Championship) for the remainder of the 2019 season.

"Marcus has worked hard since signing with us in the offseason, and we wish him the best in Memphis," said Red Bulls Sporting Director Denis Hamlett.

Epps made three appearances, including one start, for the Red Bulls this season. Epps also made 18 appearances for NYRB II, with 16 starts, and scored two goals.

Epps, 24, was selected by the Red Bulls in the MLS waiver draft in December and signed to an MLS contract in January. The midfielder previously made 32 appearances over two seasons for the Philadelphia Union after being drafted out of the University of South Florida.
