Metro playoff scenarios (3 games left)
September 19, 2019

Metro actually won a game, so, with three matches left, they stand in a very good position to make the playoffs. (Although making the playoffs should have been a given for the team coming off the league record for points...) Metro stands at 44 points with three games left. The teams below the playoff line that can still catch them are Montreal (37), Chicago (37), and Orlando (36). All have three games left as well.

So, it's quite simple. A win will get Metro to 47 points, which will make it impossible for the trio to catch them. Metro can also clinch with a tie, a Montreal loss or tie, and a Chicago loss or tie. (In this scenario, Orlando would max out at 45 points and 12 wins, so they would not be able to catch Metro on the tiebreaker.) Metro can also clinch with a loss, a Montreal loss, a Chicago loss or tie, and an Orlando loss or tie.

This weekend, Montreal plays LA, Chicago plays Cincinnati, and Orlando plays Houston. All games precede Metro's match against the Worms.
