New York Red Bulls II and FC Tulsa played to a scoreless draw on Wednesday, June 15, at MSU Soccer Park.
The two sides traded scoring chances throughout the match. In the 18th minute, Sam Williams sent in a shot from outside the box that took a deflection and just narrowly missed to the left side of the net. A few minutes later, Wiki Carmona ripped a shot from the edge of the box that hit the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Jesús Castellano had a shot ring off the post, and the rebound fell to John Murphy, who had his attempt go high.
The clean sheet was the second of the season for Marcucci, with the first coming on March 16 at Atlanta United 2. It also marked the fourth of his career.
