New York Red Bulls II played Philadelphia Union II to a 1-1 draw on Monday night at Subaru Park and lost the penalty kick shootout against the Union, 3-1.
Philadelphia opened the scoring in the 20th minute, when Cavan Sullivan fired a free kick attempt into the bottom left-hand corner.
New York equalized the match in the 91st minute when Aiden Jarvis played a through ball into the path of Tanner Rosborough, who's left-footed shot found the bottom right corner. Rosborough scored his first goal of the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro season and the eighth of his MLS NEXT Pro career.
Dennis Nelich made his MLS NEXT Pro debut in tonight's match.
