The New York Red Bulls have signed New York Red Bulls II goalkeeper Austin Causey to a short-term agreement ahead of the club's match against Toronto FC tonight.

Causey, 23, is in his first season with NYRB II. He most recently played for Lexington SC in USL League 1. Causey made 10 appearances with the club, where he tallied three shutouts. He made his debut for the club in a U.S. Open Cup matchup against Louisville City FC on April 6, 2023. Prior to Lexington, Causey played for Richmond Kickers in USL League 1 and made one appearance for the club.
