Well, they are still undefeated. On a bitterly cold afternoon, the Metros once again allowed the first goal, but came back, this time getting a tie against the Revs, 1:1. Amado Guevara scored the lone Metro goal midway through the first half as the two teams sleepwalked through the second.

Bob Bradley made a number of changes from last week; Tenywa Bonseu was benched for Jeff Parke, and Mark Lisi for Ricardo Clark. Sergio Galvan Rey made his Metro debut up front, alongside Fabian Taylor, also a first-time starter after his terrific performance a week ago.

New England struck first in the 11th minute, as Clint Dempsey pounced on a loose ball of a corner kick to make it 1:0. But just two minutes later, the Metros replied. Crisp Metro passing found Eddie Gaven all alone on the right flank; he sent the ball into the box to Taylor, who attempted a volley and then completely miss-hit it. Fortunately, the ball landed at Guevara's feet, and he blasted it past the helpless Adin "Heretic" Brown to tie the game.

Most offense in the Metro first half went through Galvan Rey, and he thought to receive a penalty call, but a clear hand ball by Shalrie Joseph in the box was somehow not called. The rest of Metro forays forward were left for naught, but not without creating many chances. G-Rey made a number of excellent runs, before being subbed out early in the second half. He looks to be a great player and will definitely score some goals once he integrates into the team a bit more. The Metros showed flashes in the second half, bombarding the Rev goal for stretches at a time, but unfortunately nothing could come of it. The game ended as a tie, with the central defense pairing of Parke and Eddie Pope clearly standing out. Parke has especially impressed so far.

Cornell Glen made his debut late in the second, but didn't show much in this game.

Lineup: Walker, Leitch, Pope, Parke, Ziadie, Clark, Gaven, Vaca, Guevara, Galvan Rey, Taylor. Subs: Lisi, Wolyniec, Glen.
