Tim Ward, who sprained his hamstring in the loss to Kansas City, is expected to miss 2-3 weeks. The injury puts in jeopardy Ward's participation at the World Youth Cup, for which he was due to depart in early June.

Possibilities to replace Ward on the left flank include Jeff Agoos, Tim Regan, or Chris Leitch, but the latter two would require re-shuffling of the defense. Newly-signed Ibrahima Diallo can play the position as well.
