The MetroStars announced today that they have waived defender Mamadou Ibrahima Diallo and midfielder Gilberto Flores.

Diallo, 21, of Senegal, was signed by the Metros on May 13, 2005 and has not seen any action.

Flores, 21, of Brazil, was signed by the Metros on May 31, 2004. He started and saw action in seven games in 2004, and recorded one assist. This season, the defensive midfielder has played in three games, logging a total of 39 minutes.
