MetroFanatic: David, originally you wanted to go to a Los Angeles team, and you ended up here. How is that working out?
David Arvizu: I was thinking that I'll be ending up on one of the Los Angeles teams seeing that I am from there, but I come to the New York Red Bulls, and Mo Johnston and Alexi Lalas showed a lot of confidence.

MF: We saw you next to the others players, and you're kind short.
DA: Yeah (laughs).

MF: You think you'll be a forward at this level?
DA: At this level, I don't know. A forward, or maybe behind the forwards.

MF: Do you know Josmer Altidore close?
DA: Yeah, I know very closely, we played together on the U-17 teams, we roomed together.

MF: He is not here yet, but when he will be, will it make the transition easier?
DA: Yeah, once he gets here, it's gonna help a lot. Having someone to speak with, to talk to, that's gonna help.
