The talks with Colorado, first reported by MetroFanatic two weeks ago, could come to fruition with the acquisition of Haitian Jean-Philippe Peguero. As reported by Jeff Bradley of ESPN in his blog, Peguero could be headed to Metro, maybe as early as this afternoon. "Someone told me this morning that he'd checked out of Colorado," Bradley adds. However, whether that means a trade or something else, is not known.

However, BAS also reports that the deal is not done and that the Rapids are more interested in a defender than a forward.
