The long-rumored trade for Colorado's Jean-Philippe Peguero could soon come to fruition, reports BigAppleSoccer and confirmed by MetroFanatic. Metro would sent Thiago Martins with two draft picks (first and third rounders) to the Rapids for Peguero, who was first reported to be a target a month ago. The trade is pending league approval.

Martins made his Metro debut in the Salt Lake match, playing the last 11 minutes. Peguero started the last two Colorado games; he has scored 14 goals 46 career league games. Peguero has a green card and therefore does not count as an international.
