Reserves cleaned up again, 4:2 by Fire

Calen Carr had a hat trick and helped the Chicago Reserves erase a two goal deficit as Chicago defeated the New York Red Bull reserves 4-2 on Sunday at Giants Stadium. The game started well for the Red Bulls as Josmer Altidore put New York up 1-0 with a left footed shot from inside the penalty area on pass from Elie Ikangu.
Altidore doubled the Red Bulls lead in the 37th minute as he was on the receiving end of beautiful cross by Red Bulls call up Andre Schmid. Altidore tapped the ball past Chicago keeper David Mahoney. The two goal Red Bull lead lasted less than a minute as Calen Carr put in a rebound of Michael Behonick save in the 38th minute. Carr then scored right before halftime leveling the score at 2 a piece at the break.
New York had a chance to go ahead in the 56th minute as Elie Ikangu found Chicago keeper David Mahoney off his line and hit a shot on target only to have it cleared off the line by Chicago defender Alex Ughiovhe.
Carr put Chicago ahead for good in the 68th minute as he beat New York Goalkeeper Michael Behonick from close range. Jared Montz put the game away in the 83rd minute converting a deflection in the box off a Red Bull defender.
