Changes to TV schedule
September 24, 2006
Earlier, we applauded Red Bull for paying for all Metro games being on live local TV. That is no longer the case, as hockey season has pushed soccer on the backburner on MSG. None of the three games remaining will be shown live in their entirety:
September 30th against Chicago is not shown at all, but will be available on HDnet and its few subscribers.
October 7th at Colorado will be joined in progress by MSG after the Rangers game that would (in theory) be over at 9:30; Metro game starts at 9:00.
The regular season finale, October 14th against Kansas City, will be shown tape-delayed on FSN at 10:00.
However, the last two games should be available on MLSlive.tv, but one would have to pay for viewing and watch them on a computer screen.
