Chivas expelled from Merconorte

Chivas Guadalajara, AKA Goatf---ers, AKA Mexico's Classiest Team, have been expelled from this year's Merconorte Tournament, forfeiting the rest of their games (including their second meeting with the Metros) by 2:0 results. They will also be banned from all South American tournaments for the next two years.
With Italchacao's win over Millionarios, the two teams are tied with the Metros on points. Of the five games left, three are being forfeited by Chivas. So the Metros have their fate in their hands, as they would advance to the semifinals by avoiding losses in the two remaining games.
