MetroFanatic: Tim, so I was told that last year you were cut off the team bus. Can you elaborate on that please?
Tim Regan: Uhhh... I didn't actually get ON the bus. It was in preparation for a preseason trip. That morning, we were ready to depart, and I found out. I don't know if there's a good way to find out that you've been cut. I don't think it's a big deal. If I would have shown up an hour earlier and they told me I was on the team, that wouldn't make me feel any better. Either way, I had to get my car and drive home. My bag was on the bus, I didn' get my bag. (laughs) I was wearing the team warm-up suit.

MF: Did you have to take it off?
TR: (laughs, serenaded by John Wolyniec) They didn't make me give it back, I kept it and gave it to somebody, packed my car and moved.

MF: Well, you're back now.
TR: Back now, yeah! Same car, different warm-up suit. (laughs) New name.

MF: Not for you?
TR: No, I kept the same name. Still Tim Regan.

MF: But new beard.
TR: Yeah, new beard. It's cold now, we've been training outdoors. So you gotta come prepared, and I came prepared.

MF: How are you doing injury-wise?
TR: Good, good. Getting closer to being fit 100%. Trying to put together consecutive games training, which is pretty important at this point in terms of developing muscle and fitness, in terms of progressing.
