New England chokes away another MLS Cup

Obviously, Metro is still without a MLS Championship, but so is New England, losing in the final for the third year in a row, and the fourth time in six seasons. The Houston Dynamo repeated as champions with a second-half comeback to win 2:1. Former Metro Brad Davis got his second ring, as did backup goalie Zach Wells, and the suspended Ricardo Clark.
