Media Day with Hunter Freeman
March 25, 2008
MetroFanatic: Hunter, the most important question we want to ask is about the streaker last week... You were right there in the shot. Any comments?
Hunter Freeman: Ha ha. Can't say I've ever been a part of anything like that, obviously during the game, you see it, and you don't pay that much attention to it. But there were definitely some laughs after the game. I got a few emails and texts, along with that specific photo of her and me in the background.
MF: You weren't afraid she was carrying a gun or anything?
HF: No, no, no, no. But it was definitely a memorable picture, I'll keep it around for a while.
MF: The team switching to a three defender formation, where do you fit in this team?
HF: Ummmm... to be honest, I'm not really sure. Unfortunately, I haven't been with the team very much in the offseason. The little time that I did spend with the team, I was still recovering from an injury. I only played 45 minutes with the team, I played out wide right in the midfield. I don't know. A lot of it depends on who's performing well and in what positions, and the health status of certain players. But I can see myself as someone in the three defenders, or out wide in the midfield. In a 3-5-2, the wide midfielders are basically outside backs. You find yourself higher up the field at times, but your duty on defense is as high as it would be in a four back system.
