According to SoccerByIves, Carlos Mendes is out for the year after tearing his hip labrum. Mendes started Saturday's game against Columbus after passing a late fitness test, but was forced to leave the game in the 40th minute. If Mendes is placed on season-ending IR, it will create another empty slot on the Metro roster, to go with the one vacated by Juan Pietravallo.
