Who?

A one-time German soccer player, mostly for Hamburger SV, but also with Werder, Koln, and Italy's Reggiana, he was the sporting director of Hamburg for the past six years. According to Germany's premier soccer source, Kicker, Beiersdorfer is taking over the sporting operations of not only Red Bull Salzburg, but also RBNY.

How that fits with our setup is unknown: current sporting director Jeff Agoos is almost definitely out, but will Beiersdorfer oversee directly from his perch in Austria, or will someone be hired to be based in the US and report to him?
