Congratulations, Clint

As we watched Salt Lake beat Los Angeles to win its first MLS Cup... Ex-Metros, ex-Metros, ex-Metros.
Mike Magee scoring the opener for LA and then nailing the decisive penalty kick. Edson Buddle, whose miss in the last frame gave RSL the title. Todd Dunivant going 90 minutes for the Galaxy, Bruce Arena on the sidelines, Dema Kovalenko on the substitute's bench. And for RSL, Andy Williams, who could have won it in the fifth round of penalties but had his shot saved.
But tonight, it's all about Clint Mathis. Perhaps our favorite Metro ever is now an MLS champion. No, it was in RSL's peacock jerseys, and not in Metro's red and black (or whatever the current color scheme is), but he is finally a champion. And he nailed RSL's first penalty kick to top it off. Congratulations, Clint.
Oh, when will MLS Cup be won not by ex-, but rather current Metros?
