A pair of two-goal performances by forwards Juan Pablo Angel and John Agudelo helped give the New York Red Bulls a 6-0 win over the U.S. Under-17 National Team on Wednesday afternoon at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL. The win was the Red Bulls' third-straight in preseason, as they improved to 3-0-1 in 2010.

New York took the lead just two minutes in, when defender Jeremy Hall played a long ball to an on-rushing Dane Richards and the Jamaican's ensuing cross was knocked into the U.S. net by defender Holden Fender. It wouldn't be long until the Red Bulls doubled their lead. In the 12th minute, Angel found a streaking Agudelo, who went one-on-one against goalkeeper Wade Hamilton and put it home for his first goal of the game.

New York struck again 16 minutes later. Richards, who used his speed to open up the U.S. defense throughout the first half, again had space on the right wing and found midfielder Joel Lindpere in the box. Lindpere was kicked, but was able to flick it off to Angel, who buried it into the net. Angel tallied his second of the game three minutes before the break, combining with Agudelo and putting it home from close range.

The U-17's best chance of the match came in the 45th minute, as an Andrew Oliver free kick sailed over the Red Bulls wall and off the crossbar before being cleared. Agudelo, a Red Bull Academy product and guest player, made it 5-0 in the 54th minute, before Red Bulls forward Conor Chinn finished the scoring 14 minutes from full time.
