RBNY has signed Brazilian midfielder Marcos Paullo, according to the New York Post. The 20-year-old Marcos Paullo Barcelos Peixoto trialed with the team last year. He was last with Atletico Paranaense and came off the bench for Metro in the Manchester City friendly.

"We just agreed with his figures and numbers. He'll play in an offensive position for us, wide left, attacking midfield, second striker," Erik Soler told the Post. "He's a young kid with loads of talent, and we think that's a sensible move for us."

The Post also reported on Matt Kassel's negotiations. "We want to sign Matt, so we've told Matt's representative and the league what we can do salary-wise," Erik Soler is quoted. "We think Matt is another player who has the potential to break through. We hope he will be part of our roster next year."
