Media Day with Brad Davis
March 19, 2002
MF: Brad, how does it feel to be the #3 pick in the draft?
Brad Davis: It's a great feeling. I heard the day before the draft that I was coming here, they called me and asked, "how does it feel to be a MetroStar", and I said, "what do you mean, I haven't heard anything about it", but when I heard, I was very happy, I was glad, it's an honor to go this high with all the selections of people they had. So I am very happy, I am glad to be here.
MF: Now they signed Griffiths, who plays your position.
BD: Winston is great guy, he is a good player. It's tough to fit everybody on the field at the same time. With the contraction, it makes it tough for everybody, we have a lot of talent on the bench, it's very deep. Me and Winston, we go out there and we battle every single day, but it's whatever is best for the team. If he's playing well and I'm playing well, it doesn't really matter. If we're winning, you can't really change things.
