Sinisa Ubiparipovic, whose departure from Metro the past offseason was shrouded in mystery, has finally found a team. The Bosnian midfielder signed with NASL's Montreal Impact for the remainder of the season, joining former teammate Greg Sutton, currently on loan with the club.

Ubiparipovic spent four seasons with Metro, scoring three goals in 84 games in all competitions. He started all four matches in the 2008 playoffs when Metro made its first MLS Cup.
