RBNY, Bolton negotiating Tim Ream offer?
January 6, 2012

"Tim [Ream] is going to play for us next year," Erik Soler said in December. We'll see if that's the case. According to ESPN.com, Bolton has submitted a formal offer for the defender. The English club is now negotiating with RBNY, and "the sides are close to an agreement".

"There's not such a big gap between the sides," a source told ESPN. "There's been significant progress in the last couple of days. Right now both sides are optimistic." The transfer fee is supposedly in the $2.5 to $3 million range.

Even if the two sides agree on a fee, Ream would have to get a British work permit to complete the transfer.
