First, Teemu Tainio was out for 4-6 weeks. Then, for two more months. And now comes word that the Finnish midfielder might need surgery, which would likely end his career.

"If he goes with the surgery it will probably be career-ending," Hans Backe told reporters. "That's why we took the decision NOT to have the surgery and tried to get the injections to heal the ACL."

Apparently, the injections are not working and surgery may be the only option.
