A paramount moment
November 6, 2012

Tomorrow, Metro will play DC Scum in the return leg of the playoff series. With the aggregate tied at 1:1, we are sure to witness a paramount moment in team history (unless the game is washed away by the nor'easter... but let's not get into that). Of course, we have no idea which way this will go.

If Metro loses, it will be yet another one in a long line of playoff failures. It will likely end "Clever" Hans Backe's reign. It will directly throw the team into the offseason that is sure to be filled with turnover and strife. It will invalidate whichever progress was made during the last three years. It will royally suck.

If Metro wins... it doesn't necessarily reverse the above. There will still be a job to be done. But finally slaying that Scum nemesis will sure be nice. It sure will go a long way when this season is looked back on.

So? Well, we'll see tomorrow...
