Could another ex-Lyon player be headed Metro way? Report surfaced in French newspaper Le Progres sites RBNY interest in winger Sidney Govou.

The midfielder spent a decade at Lyon, where he was teammates with Peguy Luyindula and ex-Metro Juninho. After time with Panathinaikos and Evian, Govou returned to Lyon last year... on an amateur contract. He is not allowed to play for the first team and has been given until the end of January to find a new club.

Govou has been capped for France 49 times, scoring 10 goals. He played for his country at the 2004 and 2008 Euros, and the 2006 and 2010 World Cups.
