Armando suspended two games

The MLS Disciplinary Commitee suspended Armando for two games and fined him an undisclosed amount for serious foul play which endangered the safety of an opponent in the fourth minute of stoppage time of the Red Bulls' July 4 match against the Houston Dynamo. No foul was called on the play. Through the MLS Players Union, Armando submitted an appeal, which was unsuccessful.
