Two games in, zero goals scored, five goals allowed. Wow. Not exactly what one pictured when entering this season, was it? This was a team "one goal away from MLS Cup"! (A misnomer; it was actually two goals, but who is counting? Not us... That MLS Cup seems like an opportunity missed now more than ever.)

But where were we; oh yes, game two, Metro at Montreal, Karl Ouimette getting the chance to step in at his old stomping grounds, as Ronald Zubar has to sit out with suspension! Shouldn't be a deal, because Gideon Baah is damn good... Well, much good did Baah do, when, in the 58th minute, ex-Metro Eric Alexander stole a ball an led an attack that ended with Metro reject Dominic Oduro scoring.

In the 71st, second after Bradley Wright-Phillips' shot was saved (Hey! At least they got some shots on goal this time around!), Ignacio Piatti went the other way, and...

You know, it doesn't matter. It's clear that what this team is doing is not working. The blueprint for beating this team is obvious. Oh, we still have 32 games left, but one more week without goals and wins...

It's best not to think of that possibility?

Lineup: Robles, Lawrence, Ouimette, Baah, Zizzo, McCarty, Martins, Kljestan, Grella, Sam, Wright-Phillips. Subs: Abang, Wright-Phillips, Davis.
