One of Metro's longest-serving players could be on his way out. BigAppleSoccer reports that Lloyd Sam "has been offered to several teams and that the Red Bulls want allocation money in return".

After posting a career-best 10 goals in 2015, Sam has slumped this season, with just one goal at the halfway point. He is also no longer guaranteed to start, with both Gonzalo Veron and Alex Muyl taking away his playing time.

In all competitions, Sam has recorded 24 goals, 10th in team history, and 26 assists, which ties him for 7th. He was an essential part of the two shield-winning teams.
