New York Red Bulls center back Gideon Baah had successful surgery on Monday evening to repair a fractured left tibia. The surgery was performed by Red Bulls team physician Dr. Riley Williams at the Hospital for Special Surgery.

Baah left Sunday's game against the Portland Timbers with injury in the 22nd minute. He will miss the remainder of the 2016 MLS season.
